Records

The Records Management Bureau (RMB) maintains all Public Regulation Commission record files and general files in both paper and electronic formats. As part of its responsibilities, RMB staff bar-codes, scans, and stores incoming legal documentation in a manner that assures both prompt and efficient public access, as well as complete and thorough archived records.

Filing Fees

Applications, Petitions, Formal Complaints, and all other filings requiring a new Docket No.

A single fee of $25.00 for each applies, and is required at time of filing.

Advice Notices

A single fee of $1.00 per each proposed rate, rule, or form applies, and is required at time of filing.

Payment Details

Payments are to be made by check or money order, payable to the NMPRC or State of New Mexico.

The entity electronically filing documents that requires a filing fee, shall include a separate attachment (pdf) or photograph (jpeg) of the signed filing fee from their filing submission, to show proof of payment at time of filing. The pdf or photograph of the check or money order shall be a separate electronic document from the document to be filed, and should be named as “Filing Fee” or “Check No.”

The entity electronically filing documents shall promptly physically mail the signed check or money order to the NMPRC, Attn: Records Bureau, P.O. Box 1269, Santa Fe, NM 87504-1269, along with a copy of the cover page for the document that the fee is associated with to assist the chief clerk or designee with making sure the filing fee is properly applied. Please include the assigned Docket No. and/or other relevant information in the Check Memo. (i.e., Advice Notice No., etc.)
